The KDS9c Rail 9mm Pistol from Kimber represents the next evolution in this popular lineup. The Kimber KDS9c features a striking two tone Dark Gray frame, black slide, and crosshatched grips creating a clean 1911 look with a modern configuration.

At its heart, the KDS9c merges a 1911-style top-end and controls with a double-stack frame. To address this, Kimber engineers opted for aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum to construct the frame.

Machined from billet, this material provides rigidity and durability while minimizing weight. The frame draws design inspiration from the Model 1911, including an upswept beavertail and no grip safety.

Consequently, there are no moving parts in this area. The frame is enlarged to accommodate the 15-round dual-column magazine, yet it remains only slightly wider than a 1911’s frame, thanks to thin grip panels.
