At Urban Gun Store, customer satisfaction and compliance with all firearm laws are our top priorities. Because firearms, ammunition, and certain related products are regulated items, our return and refund procedures differ from those of standard retailers.

1. General Policy Overview

All sales of firearms, ammunition, and serialized parts (such as lower receivers) are final and non-refundable, except in cases of:

  • Shipping error by Urban Gun Store, or
  • Defective products as determined by the manufacturer.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges once a firearm has been transferred to the customer by the receiving FFL dealer.


2. Firearm Returns and Cancellations

A. Firearms Cannot Be Returned After Transfer

Once a firearm is transferred to your possession (after completing background checks and signing the FFL paperwork), it is legally considered used — even if unfired.
At that point, no returns, exchanges, or refunds can be issued.

B. Order Cancellation Before Shipment

If you request a cancellation before your order ships, we will refund the purchase amount minus a 10% processing/restocking fee to cover administrative and transaction costs.

C. FFL Transfer Denial or Refusal

If your background check is denied, or you fail to complete the transfer at your chosen FFL:

  • The firearm will be returned to Urban Gun Store.
  • You will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus all shipping and transfer costs.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Important: It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure they can legally own and purchase a firearm before placing an order.


3. Ammunition Returns

Due to federal safety and storage regulations, ammunition sales are final.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges on ammunition for any reason, including caliber mismatch or ordering error.

Please double-check your firearm’s caliber and local laws before purchasing.


4. Accessory and Non-Firearm Returns

We accept returns on eligible accessories, apparel, optics, and gear within 15 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and in original packaging, and
  • You obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before shipping it back.

Return Conditions

  • Returns without prior RMA approval will not be accepted.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
  • A 15% restocking fee may apply for opened or repackaged items.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards or promotional vouchers
  • Special orders or clearance items
  • Items marked “final sale”
  • Electronic devices with broken seals
  • Opened safety equipment or ear protection

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery at info@urbangunstore.com.

We may request:

  • Photos of the item and packaging
  • Serial number or order number
  • Short description of the issue

Once verified, we will arrange:

  • A replacement shipment, or
  • A full refund (if the item cannot be replaced).

Do not ship items back without authorization, as unauthorized returns will not be processed.


6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Shipping charges, transfer fees, and insurance fees are non-refundable, except in cases of seller error.

If your refund has not posted after 10 business days, please contact your payment provider, as processing times may vary.


7. Order Errors and Address Issues

Please ensure your shipping address and FFL dealer information are accurate before completing your purchase.
Urban Gun Store is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses or incomplete FFL details provided by the buyer.

If a package is returned due to incorrect address information, reshipping fees will apply.


8. Warranty Claims

Many firearms and accessories are covered by manufacturer warranties.
If your item malfunctions or arrives defective after transfer, please contact the manufacturer directly for warranty service.
Urban Gun Store will assist with documentation or proof of purchase if needed.

10. Return Instructions

  1. Contact returns@urbangunstore.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for RMA approval and return instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely in original packaging.
  4. Ship the package using a trackable service with insurance.
  5. Email tracking details to confirm shipment.

Returns sent without an RMA or tracking information may not be processed.


11. Final Notes

  • All returns are subject to inspection and approval.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any return that violates this policy.
  • Refund policies are applied in accordance with federal firearm laws and ATF regulations.
