Thank you for shopping with Urban Gun Store. This Shipping Policy explains how and when we deliver firearms, ammunition, and accessories purchased from our website [www.urbangunstore.com].
Because firearms and ammunition are regulated products, additional rules and verification procedures apply to certain items.

1. General Shipping Information

We currently ship orders within the United States only.
All orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Processing time:

  • Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is verified.
  • Orders containing firearms or ammunition may take longer due to mandatory legal checks, verification of FFL licenses, or carrier restrictions.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

2. Firearm Shipments (FFL Required)

Federal law requires all firearms to be shipped only to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.

Here’s how it works:

  1. During checkout, you must select or provide the contact information for your chosen FFL dealer.
  2. We will verify the dealer’s license before shipping.
  3. Once verified, we ship your firearm directly to the FFL dealer’s address.
  4. You will need to complete the background check and any required paperwork in person at the FFL location before taking possession.

Note: Firearms cannot be shipped directly to your home address.
The receiving FFL dealer may charge a separate transfer fee. That fee is not included in your purchase price.

3. Ammunition Shipments

  • Ammunition cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
  • A physical street address is required.
  • Adult signature (21+) is required upon delivery.
  • Due to state and local regulations, we cannot ship ammunition to certain jurisdictions (see Restricted Locations below).

4. Accessories and Non-Regulated Items

Non-firearm items such as gun cases, optics, apparel, cleaning kits, and parts are shipped directly to your provided address using standard carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS).

Delivery times vary by region and shipping method selected at checkout.

5. Shipping Rates and Methods

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Destination address
  • Selected shipping speed

We offer:

  • Standard Ground Shipping (3–7 business days)
  • Expedited Shipping (2–3 business days)
  • Next-Day Air (when available and applicable laws allow)

Free shipping promotions apply only to eligible non-firearm, non-ammunition items unless otherwise stated.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, a tracking number will be emailed to you automatically.
You can use this number to track your package through the carrier’s website.

Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your tracking number for the carrier to update its status.

7. Age and Eligibility Verification

Before shipping any firearm or ammunition, we may require:

  • Proof of age (valid government-issued photo ID)
  • Confirmation of FFL transfer details
  • Additional documentation to comply with state or local firearm laws

Failure to provide the required verification within 5 business days may result in order cancellation.

8. Restricted Shipping Locations

Due to federal, state, and local laws, Urban Gun Store does not ship certain items to the following locations:

Firearms and Ammunition Restrictions:

  • California (some products restricted; must ship to registered FFL dealers)
  • New York City, NY
  • Washington D.C.
  • Chicago, IL
  • Massachusetts (certain firearms and magazines restricted)
  • New Jersey (magazine and ammunition restrictions)
  • Connecticut (certain semi-automatic firearms restricted)
  • Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories (ammunition cannot be shipped)

If you attempt to order restricted items, your order may be modified or canceled, and a restocking fee may apply.

Important: It is your responsibility to know and follow your local laws before purchasing.

9. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery.
We will assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier.

Urban Gun Store is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by carriers, weather, or government restrictions
  • Packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
  • Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery

For insured shipments, replacement or refund will be processed once carrier investigation is complete.

10. Split Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on availability, warehouse location, or legal restrictions.
You will receive separate tracking details for each shipment.

11. International Shipping

We do not ship internationally.
Orders placed with addresses outside the United States will be canceled and refunded.

12. Shipping Changes or Cancellations

If you need to change your shipping address or FFL dealer after placing an order, contact us immediately at shipping@urbangunstore.com or call (XXX) XXX-XXXX.

Changes cannot be guaranteed once your order has been processed or shipped.

13. Signature Requirements

  • All firearm and ammunition orders require an adult (21+) signature upon delivery.
  • Carrier employees are required by law to verify age and identity before releasing the package.
